Gorky Park and Gerasimov

In the well known Russian-set thriller Gorky Park, ¹ which was also turned into a successful film of drama, intrigue and smuggling, three bodies are found in Moscow’s Gorky Park with the soft tissues of their faces completely ripped away to avoid identification. Later, they were reconstructed by a Russian professor as an integral part of the plot.
