ABSTRACT

The brain of a Dinosaur was only about the size of a nut, and some think that is why they became extinct. That can't be the reason, though, for I know plenty of animals who get by with less.1 The Stegosaurus had a much larger secondary brain, or ganglion, in the pelvic region, so his thoughts were not on a very high plane. He didn't care what happened above the hips.2 The Age of Reptiles ended because it had gone on long enough and it was all a mistake in the first place. A better day was already dawning at the close of the Mesozoic Era. There were some little warm-blooded animals around which had been stealing and eating the eggs of the Dinosaurs, and they were gradually learning to steal other things, too.3 Civilization was just around the corner.
