First Order Differential Equations

This chapter is devoted to applications of the generalized monotone iterative technique developed in chapter 1 to first order discontinuous nonlinear differential equations in the framework of upper and lower solutions. We shall derive existence and extremality results for first order scalar differential equations and systems, and study the dependence of the solutions on the data.
