ABSTRACT

This paper presents possibilities of feldspar - quartz separation by anionic flotation in the presence of metal cations. The aim of this study is to investegate the effects of aluminium, barium, lead and magnesium ions on the collection efficiency of the Na-oleat for feldspar-quartz flotation. Results show that lead ions were effective activator on the oleate flotation of feldspar. So, in this paper, the effects of test conditions on the separation efficiency were presented in detail for lead used flotation tests.
