ABSTRACT

The kinetics of rhenium extraction with trioctyl ammonium hydrosulfate has been studied by using diffusion cell method. The analysis of kinetic curves and estimated data has been demonstrated that the interaction of TOA salt with rhenium occurs by the reaction of the first order both with respect to metal and extradant resulting in the formation of monocomplex TOA HReO4. When the concentration of rhenium and extradant is low, the process is limited by mass transfer through the interface and when the concentration of rhenium is high that occurs at the interface.
