ABSTRACT
Infrared is a powerful analytical tool because of its specificity, sensitivity, versatility, speed and simplicity. Solids, liquids and gases may all be analyzed using a few general sampling techniques; the spectra provide the necessary information 79for identifying and quantitating the components present.
