ABSTRACT
Filtration is the most widely used technique for aerosol sampling, primarily because of its low cost and simplicity. The samples obtained usually occupy a relatively small volume, and may often be stored for subsequent analysis without deterioration. By appropriate choice of air mover, filter medium and filter size, almost any sample quantity desired can be collected in a given sampling interval.
