ABSTRACT
Wet chemical analysis implies that water is used in the procedure. The water used in the reagents and for effecting solubilization, dilution, and transfer is called reagent water. Assumption that the reagent water contributes insignificantly to the bias of a determination is warranted only when the method of test is not sensitive to the impurity level in the water.
