ABSTRACT
The process is often discussed in preference to structure, but patients may describe having a weak bladder for any urinary symptoms but on discussing patients’ waterworks, patients will talk about passing urine, having a wee/pee, going to the toilet/loo, or spending a penny and will avoid the technical term micturition. The term pissing would generally not be used in a medical context.
