ABSTRACT
This paper presents a practical checklist to ensure that image quality is at least adequate for purposes of fragmentation measurement. The recommendations are based on the author’s experience using WipFrag in quarrying and mining applications, and in operating the “Mailfrag” service in which users provide images in a variety formats for analysis. It covers briefly the requirements for camera location, illumination, image content and numbers of images to be processed and merged.
