ABSTRACT

A kaizen teian system is nothing but a systematic organization of the activity. Many companies are now adopting kaizen teian (improvement proposal) systems. Some of these systems began more than 30 years ago and are still flourishing. The kaizen teian movement aims to increase the number of resourceful workers. But it won't happen overnight. Kaizen teian is a continuous process in which success comes in small increments. Kaizen proposal activity brings results that are valuable to the company. Proposal activity should provide continuous opportunities for practice; it develops capable employees on an ongoing basis. Kaizen enhances the company by vitalizing the organization, developing individual abilities, and training human resources. Kaizen teian is geared to companies that use the missile approach to problem solving. Experts tend to concentrate on improvement that is visible and measurable. The results must be exhibited as great achievements if the experts are to maintain their professional status.
