ABSTRACT
The most cell culture systems, which are used to test biomaterials are either of none human origin or are using cells, which in vivo are not in contact to orthopaedic implants [Goshima, 1991]. The objective of this study was to investigate the behaviour and the immunological properties of cultured human bone marrow cells on the surface of different biomaterials.
