ABSTRACT
The problem determining the cutting force during mining rock fracture while cutting with a simultaineous water ingress to the cutting zone through the cutter at high pressure is given in the report. Assumptions with the help of which this problem is reduced to a flat problem of linear fracture mechanics have been proved. Its solution algorithm based upon boundary element technique has been elaborated. Cutting force dependence upon water pressure, the rock’s strength, depth and angle of cutting are the results of the problem solution.
