ABSTRACT
One of the most exciting developments of recent years in relation to subpersonalities is the way in which they have been adopted by academic psychology. This makes them into something more than a curiosity. But this is not all. The idea has also been admitted into the computer theory of artificial intelligence, and translated into terms of hardware and software. Further still, the idea of subpersonalities has invaded the field of philosophy. Let us look at some of the contributors to this, and find out what they are saying.
