ABSTRACT
The fourth way we can set up subpersonalities within us is through our personal history, starting with our earliest experiences. In order to understand how this can happen, we have to realize that we have as it were two minds. There is a conscious mind, which uses language, makes rules, understands figures, and so on. There is also an unconscious mind, which works rather differently and quite out of our awareness.
