ABSTRACT
A phase-field model with constraint of the Penrose-Fife type is considered. The model is a system of nonlinear parabolic PDEs which governs the (absolute) temperature and order parameter with bounded constraint. In this paper, the well-posedness of the system is shown in the product space of the dual of H 1(Ω) and L 2(Ω).
