ABSTRACT
Over the past decade, the electrical environment has undergone considerable changes. Our society has increased its dependence on electronic systems, which now proliferate. The dependence on electronic systems began in the 1980s with the personal computer (PC) revolution. Computing power moved out of the computer room’s managed environment to just about everywhere — factory floor, desktop, etc.
