ABSTRACT
With the knowledge gained at step 4 (study and inspect target process) and the factual information obtained at step 5 (analyze results) it is now time to look for specific causes. This step is also known as step B (for breakdown), and the procedure is one of considering various hypotheses about cause-and-effect relationships.
