ABSTRACT
Students entering the College of Science find it difficult to orientate themselves and so miss much of the first few weeks essential educational input. In 1996, ex-College students mentored small groups of freshmen during orientation and the first quarter of the year. The scheme was evaluated with interviews of both mentors and mentees.
