ABSTRACT
One large project is reviewed, using accreditation to enhance and reward student tutor commitment, to recognize its validity within undergraduate degree course programmes and to provide sustainable funding. In a further initiative, experienced student tutors manage groups of new student tutors, gaining academic credit and valuable workplace experience that can increase their employability.
