ABSTRACT
This symposium is intended to honor Herbert A. Simon; if any queue is forming to honor Herbert A. Simon, I want to be in it. (I don't always get the chance, of course—the king of Sweden neglected to invite me to the Big One.) I am at least as interested in honoring Herbert A. Simon as in discussing what the organizers of the symposium call “the current fruits of the intellectual seeds sown by Simon over the past 30 years.” But if all goes well, I may do both at the same time.
