ABSTRACT
Task lighting is use of light to make some activity easier to accomplish. Display lighting is illuminating an exhibit in a museum or an object in a shop window so that it catches the attention and reveals its best attributes. Traditionally, task and display lighting are discussed separately. They are, though, just different aspects of the same process and it is helpful to review them together.
