ABSTRACT
A desk in a school classroom, an office workspace and a table top used for homework have similar lighting requirements. The solutions differ, though, because almost everything else is different: the hours of work, the number of people involved, the resources, the building environment. The design of a workplace involves more than the immediate task area.
