ABSTRACT
It is the purpose of this chapter to draw attention to subtle but, to me, predictable presentations on television. It will be argued that these ubiquitous subtleties both mirror and mold society's behavior in the realm of racism. I pose the question whether or not television contributes to racism by teaching or reflecting what the society believes is probable, typical, or desirable in interracial behavior.
