ABSTRACT

A bibliography, such as Bibliography 1, can readily be programmed into simple facts, complex facts, and relations in a Prolog program.

Let us program a simplified bibliography, Bibliography 2, of fictitious authors and titles in order to illustrate how Prolog performs its searches and to show how to modify a query to govern the order in which Prolog presents the results of its searches. Bibliography 2 contains books listed in order of publication, earliest first.
