CHI severity. We also examined the WM age percentile distributions of each CHI severity group. The moderate and severe groups showed significant positive skews: D(46) = .154,p < .01 and D(40) = .196,p < .005, respectively (see Figure 2). The mild group was normally distributed, although quite variable with scores ranging from the 1 st to the 99th percentile. We reviewed the medical histories of the mild CHI children who had scores below the 5th percentile (n = 8); none had any reported premorbid attention or learning disorders.
