ABSTRACT
For those of you who took the time to write the story, perhaps it went something like this. You are driving along in a car at night on a lonely isolated road when you notice a strange light in the sky. At first you do not pay it much attention, but gradually you begin to suspect that the light is actually following your car – and it does not look like any conventional aircraft! As the craft gets nearer to your car, you can see that it is definitely circular in shape. You cannot believe your eyes, as your fear turns to terror. You put your foot on the accelerator, in a desperate attempt to outrun the alien craft. A brilliant beam of light engulfs your car and the engine suddenly cuts out completely. You lose consciousness.
