ABSTRACT

Of the 10 exclusionary conditions summarized from DSM-IV, p. 625, and listed early in the last chapter, Personality Disorders are the most sensitive. This is the reason for this brief discussion here. Unlike in Chapter 3 on patient impairment, an adaptation of only one model is presented here because it follows the DSM-III-R (1987) and DSM-IV (1994) classification of Personality Disorders.
