The idea that a woman who will do this must surely be unusually fine and desirable has grown in his mind until reason, logic and actual experience may have nothing to do with his decision. "Any woman who will pour a half cup of tea will be the woman for me." "Any man who is so kind to dogs will make a wonderful husband." "A woman who is well groomed and keeps her house so clean will make any man a good wife." And so we "fall in love."
