In recent years many of the women shown on TV, in movies, and in magazine ads have often been very slender, sometimes to the point of emaciation. These women are presented by the media as models of what is beautiful and attractive. For the average women to attempt to attain this level of thinness would be both difficult and unhealthy, because this model pays little or no attention to the natural build or set-point for
