ABSTRACT

Adler (1930a, 1930b, 1930/1963) was very concerned with the welfare of children and, unlike Freud, worked with children and families quite extensively throughout his professional career. He strongly stated that

Individual Psychologists have continued this effort and philosophy, working with children and families to provide education, guidance, and therapy in numerous formats across a wide variety of settings (Mosak & Maniacci, 1993). In the three chapters in this section are explored a variety of conditions.
