ABSTRACT
Since programs were introduced 19 years ago, psychology has become an important factor in Jordanian schools. Counseling services operate throughout the system with special education services offered additionally in special schools. As a basis for the understanding and assessment of such programs, this chapter presents a description of the present status of these counseling services including special education, an analysis of the problems to be faced and dealt with, and an outline of some possible areas for future development.
