ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The hazards pre-evaluations of construction projects implemented in China has been considered as one of the most important preventive measures. In this paper, the chemicals exposure health risk classification method, which could be used to determine the occupational disease hazards classifications of construction projects, has been introduced by classical cases study and experience summary. By practical application, this method has been proved simple and feasible, with the results reasonable, and in keeping with the current actual situation of the construction projects occupational health risk assessment in China. It not only meets the request of Chinese existing rules, but also has been used to solve the present technical difficulties of occupational health technical services. In occupational disease hazards assessment, the categories should be determined by flexibly applying the latest regulations published by State Administration of Work Safety in accordance with specific conditions. Meanwhile, the method needs continuous perfection to help the assessment work and guide the construction projects classification management.
