ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: In recent years, drought showing the feathers of high frequency, large-range impact, long-range duration, that tremendous impact on social economy and people’s life. Huaihe River Basin is not only an important grain-producing area, but also the industrial and service industry well-developed area in China. Thus once comes the drought disaster, it will inevitably bring about significant loss. This study present a method of Copula function into drought risk analysis and classify the different hazard-bearing bodies based on industry to enhance risk analysis accuracy. The joint probability of two drought feathers was used to indicate the drought probability and the threshold was determined based on the drought response of different industry. A model was set up to describe the potential loss of multi hazard-bearing bodies and the drought hazard with them combined to represent the drought risk of different industries. This study provided a more accurate calculate and targeted model for decision makers to make effective measures for drought disaster management of different industries.
