ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The understanding of occupational risk acceptance and the factors that have influence on it are important keys for the entire risk management process. Researches about risk acceptance relating to occupational risks were not found. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of risk that workers are willing to accept in the furniture sector. Results show differences in risk acceptance among risk scenarios. It appears to exist a relationship between risk acceptance and risk perception. This study provided new knowledge that can be useful for decision-makers, particularly in the definition of the risk acceptance criteria.
