ABSTRACT
The OMFAQ has been in use since 1975. Although the questionnaire is easy to use, irritation with some items has surfaced. Specifically, one question covers two issues, coding is not always consistent, and secular changes have altered behavior. The manner in which these issues have been coped with is given in detail in this chapter. The questionnaire in this volume includes the changes made. In no case has the meaning of any item been changed. Rather, alterations have resulted in clarification and will ease administration and data analysis. This chapter is included for the convenience of old users. New users need not be concerned with the changes.
