ABSTRACT
That global climates are changing, due at least in part to human activity, is generally accepted by the scientific community, and the implications of this are potentially very important for the poorer of Earth’s societies. Agriculture – subsistence and commercial – is still the most significant livelihood in developing areas, and will be the principal focus of this chapter.
