Service center edge cities specialize in all kinds of services. They are edge cities which closely approach the picture of edge cities described by Garreau. These edge cities have a substantial number of services for travelers—eating and drinking establishments, motels, and so forth. They also have a large number of services to support other businesses. These would include accounting, law, banking, and insurance Firms.
