ABSTRACT
Ronald A. Havens, Ph.D. (West Virginia University), is Associate Professor of Psychology at Sangamon State University in Springfield, Illinois. He also works as consultant to various organizations and has a private practice in psychotherapy and hypnotherapy. With interests in the training of mental health practitioners, hypnosis, and prescriptive approaches to psychotherapy, he has published numerous articles and chapters, and is author of The Wisdom of Milton H. Erickson.
