ABSTRACT
Anyone who has ever been a victim of a burglary will tell you how much he or she felt violated. First, a stranger gains access to a home through some means of illegal entry and then rummages carelessly through personal items and treasures in search for something valuable. To enter your own home and realize that you have been a “victim” can be devastating. Further, it is humiliating on some level to have someone who has no regard for you go through your belongings and steal those things deemed of value.
