ABSTRACT
Teamwork is an integral aspect of inpatient treatment. When the treatment team is not functioning at an optimal level, the most qualified staff and enthusiastic treatment plans will achieve only limited results. In this chapter, we will attempt to delineate the essentials for good teamwork, including role clarification, role of the leaders, issue of communication, and appropriate staff relationships.
