ABSTRACT
Schizophrenia is the most severe psychiatric disorder, and a large proportion of the chronically and persistently mentally ill suffer from chronic schizophrenia. Patients with schizophrenia fill the state mental hospitals, community mental health centers, structured community residences, and the streets. Schizophrenia is a chronic, lifelong debilitating disorder.
