ABSTRACT
When one reviews the enormous literature on suicide assessment, one is first struck by the magnitude of the number of studies, scales, papers, and books. The second striking finding is the relative lack of writing about the practical aspects of "how to do the interview" (Shea, 1998, p. 471).
