ABSTRACT

The third paper of this section, by Robert Nunn, offers a comprehensive review of developments and change in the theories of psychopathology - from Freud and Breuer's Studies on Hysteria to what Nunn terms the "contemporary period ." He proposes an integration of historical and contemporary theories of psychopathology and suggests a conceptualization designed to eliminate current contradictions between so called "deficit" and "conflict" pathologies .
