ABSTRACT
Traditional factor analysis has a two-mode data matrix with the first mode being individuals and the second mode being variables. However, other modes could be considered as a replacement for either the individuals or the variables. In Section 15.1, Two-Mode Factor Analysis, variations on traditional factor analysis that occur when another mode replaces one of the regular modes are considered.
