ABSTRACT
Of the 428 academic departments that offer counselor preparation programs, 110 of them (26%) offer entry level marriage and family counselor/therapist programs (Table 8.1) and 22 offer a doctoral level programs. Five of the 22 offered doctoral level programs only; that is, no entry level marriage and family counselor/therapist program was offered by those departments.
