Rehabilitation Counseling Doctoral Level Programs

Fourteen doctoral level rehabilitation counseling program were surveyed. Generally if a department offered a doctorate in rehabilitation counseling, then an entry level program was also offered (Table 16.1). The Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) is the accrediting body, however they accredit at the master’s level. Therefore, no doctoral programs are accredited by CORE.
