ABSTRACT
In addition to the 85 doctoral level counselor preparation programs reported in Chapters 14 through 17, another 54 doctoral programs are covered in this chapter, in the following areas: counseling psychology (38), community counseling (1), career counseling (1), pastoral counseling (6), and other counseling specialties (8). The number of programs in some areas are too small to draw conclusions from the numbers. However, these 139 programs in total do provide the basis for understanding doctoral programs in counselor preparation.
