ABSTRACT

This chapter examines the various skill sets of activity therapists, their role in a variety of clinical settings, and some issues in the management of expressive, rehabilitative, vocational, and prevocational services. Let us start by reviewing the major divisions in the field and their contribution to the treatment effort. The sequence is in alphabetical order and does not reflect relative importance of the particular discipline.
