ABSTRACT

The higher education enterprise is an extremely complex organization that responds to a vast array of constituents. These include external groups such as governmental agencies at the federal, state, and local levels and commercial vendors and service providers of all descriptions. Constituents closer to the institution include parents, students, alumni, the faculty, and staff members. These individuals, groups, and organizations interact with the institution on a frequent and regular basis. Not every interaction results in agreement.
